Groups should make advance reservations at least two weeks ahead of the time they wish to visit. Refundable deposits of $1.00 per person are required for groups of more than 20 people.

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday
Tours are given on the hour, with the first tour of the day at 10:00 a.m. and the last at 3:00 p.m.
What To Expect
Tours of the site take approximately one hour. Tours are offered on the hour, with the first tour at 10:00 a.m. and the last at 3:00 p.m. On these tours, visitors take guided tours through the Bennehan House, the Holman House at Horton Grove and the Great Barn.
Plan to wear comfortable, sturdy shoes and to dress for the weather. There is no food or drink available at the site, but please feel free to bring a picnic lunch! There are picnic tables on site and plenty of open grounds for an afternoon picnic. The Welcome Center has bottled water for sale and restroom facilities.
All of Stagville's historic buildings are handicapped accessible. We welcome visitors with special needs.
When you arrive on site, please park in one of two visitor lots and follow the path down to the green Welcome Center at the rear of the property. All tours begin at the top of the hour from the Welcome Center. The Historic Stagville Foundation's Gift Shop is also located in the Welcome Center. Proceeds from gift shop sales, along with membership payments and donations go directly to support Historic Stagville.
